A medium shot shows five elementary-age children standing in a row and looking at the camera. In the center, a person in a dark green hoodie with the Nike logo holds a large, two-tiered purple and gold trophy featuring a silver figure on top. Behind them, a bright blue banner features text that reads, "There is room for everyone under," with a graphic of a large red umbrella that has a smiling face.

Read Across America Week is here, and we are thrilled to celebrate all week long at Harrison! This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we honor America’s 250th birthday by spotlighting our nation’s unique states and the diverse readers who make our country so special. Throughout the week, students will enjoy spirit days, special guest readers, and buddy activities that bring our school community together through the joy of reading. Happy Read Across America Week!

Harrison celebrated the 100th day of school with the theme “Red, White, & 100 Days Bright… Happy Birthday, America!” Students partnered with buddies from different classes to work through hands-on math stations. Thank you to Mrs. Pannia and Mrs. Velardi for planning and facilitating this great day!
