A chaotic scene shows various animal cartoon characters dropping food and spilling drinks at a diner counter, with the book title 'ACCIDENT!' and author 'ANDREA TSURUMI' visible. Each year, Harrison School focuses on a schoolwide theme connected to the Portrait of a Graduate. This year, our focus is taking responsibility for our actions. We will officially kick off our theme on Tuesday, October 6 with Accident! by Andrea Tsurumi. The story reminds us that everyone makes mistakes and accidents happen, what matters is how we respond, make things right, and learn from them.

Our Harrison Hawks are already putting this theme into action! Students have been recognizing responsible classmates, interviewing teachers, role-playing ways to show accountability, and taking responsibility for caring for our school and playground.

At Harrison, we're learning to own our choices, make things right, and grow from our mistakes!
